We are looking for an experienced and talented Assistant Controller with a strong background in FP& A and Business Intelligence (BI) to join our finance team.Job Summary:The Assistant Controller will support the financial operations of the company by overseeing critical accounting functions and providing insights through financial planning and analysis (FP& A) and business intelligence (BI). This role will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a mix of accounting expertise, analytical skills, and experience with business intelligence tools.Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Lead the FP& A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Utilize business intelligence (BI) tools to create insightful reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and analyze trends to identify areas for operational improvement.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and ensure compliance.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master's in Finance/Accounting) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on FP& A and business intelligence.

Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and advanced Excel skills.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP, IFRS).
